Russian PM speaks about main tasks of govt headquarters to counter sanctions

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - The main tasks of the government headquarters to counter the sanctions are to protect the internal market, ensure the continual operation of enterprises, and maintain employment, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"Among the main tasks, we have determined, are the protection of the internal market, ensuring the continual operation of enterprises through liquidation of disruptions of logistical and production chains and, of course, maintaining employment," Mishustin said at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and government members on Thursday.

"It's important to help people and businesses adapt to the new conditions more quickly," he said.
