Abkhazia, LPR establish diplomatic relations
SUKHUM. March 10 (Interfax) - Abkhazia and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) have today exchanged notes establishing diplomatic relations, the former's foreign ministry stated on Thursday.
The two states are "drafting a friendship and cooperation agreement which will lay the foundation for a subsequent legal framework between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Luhansk People's Republic," the statement said.
"Abkhazia and the Luhansk People's Republic support the Russian Federation course aimed at the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine," it added.
