There can be no nuclear war by definition - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - A nuclear war is impossible by definition. It would lead to the end of civilization, Igor Vishnevetsky, deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control, said.

"There can be no nuclear war by definition; a nuclear war is the end of civilization," Vishnevetsky said at a session of the Valdai Discussion Club on Thursday.
