Kyiv vows to give concrete reply to Russia's proposals on settlement shortly - Lavrov

ANTALYA. March 10 (Interfax) - Kyiv has promised to give a reply to Russia's proposals on settling the situation in Ukraine shortly, and Moscow is determined to conduct "serious" negotiations on the Belarusian platform, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"The Russian side has proposed extremely concrete considerations, in the form of a draft legal document, and the Ukrainian side, which has taken these considerations for review in Kyiv, has promised to give a concrete reply to them soon," Lavrov said at a press conference following negotiations with Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmytro Kuleba on Thursday.

"We want to have a serious conversation at the Belarusian forum, not just brush it off with some informal papers, but agree upon things that, as generally admitted, should be resolved in the context of a comprehensive settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and in the context of providing security on the European continent," he said.
