KYIV. March 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Over 10,000 people were evacuated from the Kyiv region on Wednesday, head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleba said on Ukrainian television.

Kuleba said more precise numbers would be reported later. Evacuation was planned for Vorzel, Irpin, Bucha and Hostomel, but some of the plans were not fulfilled, he said. "We very much hope that the evacuation will continue today and people will be able to leave Bucha and Hostomel," he said.
