Russia stands for any contacts in regard to Ukraine crisis - Lavrov

ANTALYA. March 10 (Interfax) - Russia favors any contacts that could help end the crisis in Ukraine and believes there is no alternative to talks in Belarus, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"In fact, we stand for any contacts in regard to the problems, which constitute the core of the current Ukrainian crisis, and the search for a way out of it," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

"These contacts must have an added value, we believe they will never be used [...] to replace or depreciate the real, principal negotiating track, which is developing in the Belarusian territory at the level of two delegations," Lavrov said.

"Today's conversation confirms there is no alternative to this track," he said.
