Nazarbayev arrives in Antalya to attend Diplomatic Forum

NUR-SULTAN. March 9 (Interfax) - First Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in Antalya to take part in a Diplomatic Forum, his spokesperson Aidos Ukibay said.

"At the invitation of Turkish President Recep [Tayyip] Erdogan the Yelbasy (leader of the Kazakh nation) has arrived in Antalya to participate in the Diplomatic Forum," Ukibay said on Twitter.

The Antalya Diplomatic Forum is a discussion platform for the exchange of views on topical global and regional issues. The current forum will be held under the slogan "Recoding Diplomacy," the spokesperson for the Kazakh nation's leader said.

Meanwhile, a meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is scheduled for March 10 on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum amid ongoing Russian-Ukrainian talks in Belarus aimed at resolving the conflict.
