Strikes on Ukraine's military installations continue, 2,814 destroyed so far - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - The Russian military have destroyed 2,814 military installations in Ukraine since the special operation began in the country, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Since the launch of the operation 2,814 sites of Ukraine's military infrastructure have been destroyed," the ministry's spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.
They include 139 S-300, Buk M-1 and S-125 surface-to-air missile systems and 84 air defense radar posts. Also, "974 tanks and other fighting armored vehicles, 104 multiple rocket launchers, 359 field artillery weapons and mortar launchers, 727 units of special military automotive equipment and 97 unmanned aerial vehicles," Konashenkov said.
