Kuleba, Blinken discuss over phone steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities

KYIV. March 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he has discussed strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in a telephone call with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

"Call with Secretary Blinken on further steps to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities. Grateful to the U.S. for the new package of tough sanctions on Russia," Kuleba wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

Pressure on Russia must increase, he said.
