Zelensky, Michel discuss Ukraine's membership in EU

KYIV. March 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he has had another round of talks with European Council President Charles Michel and discussed measures to increase pressure on Russia and Ukraine's membership in the European Union.

"Consultations with EU partners continue. Talked with Charles Michel," Zelensky wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.

He said that he and Michel discussed anti-Russian sanctions, "the need for coordinated pressure on Russia to ensure the security of civilians," support for Ukraine, and its membership in the EU.
