Russia to cede not one bit at talks with Ukraine - Slutsky

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - Moscow has no intention of ceding ground at its talks with Kyiv, the head of the Duma foreign affairs committee and a member of the Russian negotiating team, Leonid Slutsky, said.

"In regard to the talks: I would rather, given that they have been quite difficult, talk about it less. They are not held for publicity but for finding, as mathematicians say, a common denominator on key issues, military, political and humanitarian ones. This is not easy. But the Russian delegation will cede not a single negotiating point nor a single millimeter, to use the allegory of such a format," Slutsky said on the YouTube channel Soloviev.LIVE.
