Ex-Russian PM Stepashin: Russia could stop supplies of energy to NATO countries

MOSCOW. March 8 (Interfax) - Russia could stop delivering oil and gas to NATO member states and other unfriendly countries, former Russian Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin said.

"But we're thinking today not about states but about ordinary people. Including about people in Europe," Stepashin said.

"This is precisely why Russia is continuing to supply energy resources," he said.

"However, those who are rejecting these supplies these days don't think about their own citizens," Stepashin said.
