Export of foreign medical products from Russia banned

MOSCOW. March 8 (Interfax) - Russia has imposed a temporary ban on the export from the country of foreign medical products. A relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the government press service said.

The ban applies to medical products delivered from the states that have joined the sanctions and now located in importers' warehouses or undergoing customs procedures.

The government's decision will help prevent a shortage of medical products in Russia due to the restrictions imposed by unfriendly states, the report said.
