Slutsky hopes next round of Russia-Ukraine talks with will be effective
MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - The third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine was important, the problem of humanitarian corridors was discussed in detail, deputy head of Russia's Duma foreign affairs committee, Leonid Slutsky, said on Monday.
"Today's Russian-Ukrainian consultations in Belarus dedicated a fair amount of time to this [topic] and it seems to me we did reach mutual understanding," Slutsky told Rossiya-24 television channel.
Hopefully, the next round will be effective, he added.
