Gazprom reaffirms commitment to deliver gas to Europe under long-term contracts

MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - Gazprom has reiterated its commitment to honor obligations under contracts with European buyers as prices continue to rise amid political tensions in Europe.

"Gazprom fully honors all gas requests it has from foreign consumers. The Ukrainian corridor is being used 100% under the transit agreement.

"Today the TTF - Europe's key gas hub - broke an all-time price record, at $3,892 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. Prices could get higher still. But not for reasons on the Gazprom side.

"Our company is ensuring and will ensure the execution of its long-term contracts for gas supply," Gazprom said.
