DPR accuses Ukrainian nationalists of shooting at column of evacuees from Mariupol, killing 2 people

DONETSK. March 6 (Interfax) - Nationalists have opened fire at a column of civilians evacuated from Mariupol, two people were killed and four wounded as a result of the incident, Eduard Basurin, spokesperson for the militia of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), said.

"Ukrainian militants from the Azov nationalist battalion gunned down a column of civilians while they attempted to exit the city of Mariupol via the humanitarian corridor at the M23 route in the direction of Novoazovsk today," Basurin told the press on Sunday.

Two civilians were killed and four wounded as a result of the incident, he said.
