Russian Defense Ministry warns third countries against receiving Ukrainian combat planes, it may draw them into conflict

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry said that the countries stationing Ukrainian combat aircraft may get involved in the armed conflict.

"We know for a fact about Ukrainian combat plans which earlier flew to Romania and other neighboring countries," Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.

"We would like to point out that the use of the network of airfields of those countries for the stationing of Ukrainian combat aviation for the further use against the Russian Armed Forces could be viewed as the involvement of those countries in the armed conflict," he said.
