Bennett after talks with Putin phoned to Zelensky - Israeli media

JERUSALEM. March 5 (Interfax) - Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow earlier on Saturday, afterwards called the Ukrainian leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, The Times of Israel reported, citing an unnamed Israeli official.

"Following the meeting with Putin, the Prime Minister's Office said Bennett spoke with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky," the paper said.

From Moscow Bennett will travel to Berlin to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, it said.

Earlier Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told Interfax that Putin's talks with Bennett had concluded.

According to Israeli media, the White House had been notified of the Moscow meeting in advance.
