Ukrainian nationalists plotting Sumy provocation - Russian security source

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Ukrainian nationalists are about to stage a provocation with participation of foreign students at a university in the city of Sumy, a source in Russian security agencies told Interfax on Saturday.

"Members of Ukrainian nationalist groups are preparing an act of information propaganda involving nine students from among Iraqi citizens, seven men and two women, who are being forcibly detained on the grounds of a dorm at Sumy State University," the source said.

The nationalists plan to kill them and then accuse the Russian military, he said.

"The nationalists intend to kill the detained group of Iraqis during a military takeover of the campus by Russia's armed forces, and spread disinformation about Muslim foreign citizens killed as a result of a 'Russian military aggression,'" the source said.
