Russian Defense Ministry: 5 radar stations, 2 Buk M-1 air defense systems destroyed in Ukraine on Sat; 4 Su-27 aircraft downed over Zhytomyr

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Russian troops continued disabling the military infrastructure in Ukraine on Saturday, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing.

"Strikes at facilities from the military infrastructure of Ukraine have continued today. Five radar stations, two Buk M-1 air defense missile systems have been destroyed on March 5 alone; four Sukhoi Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were downed during aerial combat near Zhytomyr, and a Su-27 was downed by air defense near Nizhyn," Konashenkov said.
