French independent director leaves VTB supervisory board

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Veteran VTB supervisory board independent director Yves Thibault de Silguy has left the board.

"We confirm that we have received a statement from Yves Thibault de Silguy about leaving the supervisory board of VTB Bank," the bank's press service told Interfax.

De Silguy, an experienced French diplomat and businessman, first joined VTB's supervisory board in 2007, returned to it in 2013 and has remained on it ever since. At the same time, he is a member of the management bodies of a number of foreign organizations, in particular, the board of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH).
