Baku, Ankara actively involved in efforts to settle Ukraine situation - Azerbaijani FM

BAKU. March 5 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan and Turkey are taking active part in settling the conflict situation surrounding Ukraine, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

"Azerbaijan and Turkey are taking active part in settling the conflict in Ukraine. Dialogues are being maintained with both the Russian and Ukrainian sides," Bayramov said at a press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Saturday.

Bayramov said it was important to continue Russian-Ukrainian talks.

"Azerbaijan and Turkey are also supporting each other as concerns the evacuation of their citizens from Ukraine," he said.
