Haas F1 team terminates contract with Russian driver Mazepin and sponsor Uralkali

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - The U.S. Formula 1 team Haas has made a decision to terminate their contract with Russian driver Nikita Mazepin.

The team is also terminating their contract with its sponsor - Russian company Uralkali, the team's press service said.

This decision was adopted over the events in Ukraine, it said.

Nikita Mazepin, the son of the head of Uralkali, has been the Haas F1 team's driver since 2021.
