Apartment block blasted in Mariupol, hundreds of people in the rubble - DPR
DONETSK. March 5 (Interfax) - An apartment block has been blown up in Mariupol, the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) territorial defense headquarters said.
"Two hundred people are in the rubble, most of them women and children," the headquarters said in a statement on Saturday.
It blamed "fighters of the Azov" Ukrainian volunteer battalion for the blast.
It was reported earlier on Friday that humanitarian corridors were organized for the evacuation of residents of Mariupol and Volnovakha.
