Russian Defense Ministry releases video of Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters operating in Ukraine

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - The Russian military released a video of Kamov Ka-52 Alligator attack and reconnaissance helicopters participating in the operation in Ukraine.

"Duos of Ka-52 helicopters destroyed armored vehicles of Ukrainian nationalists with anti-tank guided missiles," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

"In the course of the special military operation, army aviation is escorting convoys, destroying armored vehicles, transporting attack forces and military cargo, and providing air support to units on special operation missions," the statement said.

Ka-52 Alligator attack and reconnaissance helicopters are serially built for the Russian Defense Ministry by the Arsenyev-based Sazykin Progress Aviation Company, a unit of Rostec's Russian Helicopters Holding, since 2010.
