Over 2,000 elements of Ukrainian military infrastructure hit during special operation - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Over 2,000 elements of Ukrainian military infrastructure have been hit since the beginning of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"In all, 2,037 elements of Ukrainian military infrastructure have been hit during the operation," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Saturday.

These include 71 command and communication posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 98 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa air defense missile systems and 61 radar stations, he said.

The forces "have destroyed 66 planes on the ground and another 16 in mid-air, 708 tanks and other types of combat armored vehicles, 74 rocket launchers, 261 artillery weapons and mortars, 505 special military vehicles, and 56 drones," Konashenkov said.
