Kyrgyz FM to visit Moscow

BISHKEK. March 4 (Interfax) - Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev will pay an official visit to Moscow on March 5, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry's press service said on Friday.

"An official visit by Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev to Moscow, timed to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, will take place on March 5 at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov," the report said.

According to the agency, the ministers will discuss vital issues relating to bilateral cooperation and multilateral interaction in international organizations and integration associations.

A joint statement by the two countries' foreign ministers and a program of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2022-2024 are expected to be signed during the visit, the press service said.
