Over 140 tonnes of food, medication arrives in Kherson - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - The Russian military delivered over 140 tonnes of food and medication for distribution among civilians of Kherson, Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told a briefing on Friday.
"This noon, following a request from the Kherson administration, Russian troops delivered over 140 tonnes of food and medications into the city. The entire humanitarian cargo was handed over for distribution among the local population," Konashenkov said.
The Russian military intends to continue to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian residents in need, he said.
