CAS hasn't received RFU's appeals against sanctions imposed by FIFA, UEFA - court press service

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has not received an appeal from the Russian Football Union (RFU) against the suspension of Russian teams from competitions over the events in Ukraine, the court press service told Interfax.

"Please be advised that at the time of writing the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has not received an appeal from the RFU in relation to legal action against FIFA and/or UEFA," CAS said.

Earlier reports stated that RFU would send an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne against the decision made by FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) to suspend the Russian teams from international competitions.
