Russia's Covid-19 immunity down to 56% from 57.8% last week

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Russia has by now carried out over 87.9 million first-dose injections of coronavirus vaccine, the rate of collective immunity is estimated at 56%, according to data published on the Russian stopcoronavirus portal.

Specifically, the first dose of vaccine has been given 87,949,768 times and 84,093,959 people are double-vaccinated, the data said.

Herd immunity is at 56%, down from 57.8% a week ago. The rate has been falling steadily for the fifth week in a row.
