Volodin compares imposition of sanctions to WWIII

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - WWIII could be an alternative to the imposition of sanctions, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.

"The sanctions that are currently being imposed can be compared only to WWIII. A war is the alternative to them," Volodin said at a State Duma meeting on Friday.

He urged deputies to reflect on the challenges that need to be overcome and to demonstrate a responsible attitude.
