Mogilyov denies reports on regional hospital's repurposing for treating wounded

MINSK. March 4 (Interfax) - The Mogilyov Regional Hospital in Belarus has denied rumors that it has been repurposed for treating wounded military service members.

"There has been no significant change as concerns the cohort of patients or the types of aid provided. Nobody has instructed us to change the hospital's profile. We are working as we are supposed to within the framework of our departments and within the framework of those specialties that we have provided aid before" Leonid Sokolov, deputy chief surgeon of the Mogilyov Regional Clinical Hospital, said on Belarusian television.

The hospital is working as usual and is providing the entire range of medical services to the local population, he said.
