Putin extends govt service term for his aide Ushakov by one year - directive

MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a directive to extend the term of his aide Yury Ushakov's federal state civilian service by one year, i.e. until March 13, 2023.

The directive dated March 3 is published on the official database of legal information.

Ushakov is to turn 75 on March 13.

The mandatory retirement age for civilian government officials in Russia is 65 years. However, this limit may be extended for top-ranking government officials.
