Over 760 instances of shelling recorded in DPR in 15 days, 26 civilians killed, over 100 injured

DONETSK. March 4 (Interfax) - More than 760 instances of shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been recorded in 15 days, 26 civilians have been killed and 105 others injured, including seven children among the injured, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire said.

"During 15 days of escalation, 766 instances of shelling by Ukrainian armed formations have been recorded. Of these, 637 with the use of heavy weaponry. In total, the enemy fired 9,174 rounds of munitions of various calibers," the DPR mission to the JCCC said in a report released on Thursday.

During this period, 26 civilians were killed, 105 others suffered wounds of varying degrees of severity, seven of them children, in the hostilities, the mission said.
