Russia's security guaranteed by nuclear weapons - Rogozin

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russia's security is guaranteed by its nuclear weapons, Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin said.

"This is insurance for our peaceful way of life and insurance of our independence, as well as insurance of our sovereign right to say as we think and what we think should be done," Rogozin said on Channel One on Thursday.

"So, Russia having a modern nuclear missile shield with, I would say even, superior technical characteristics, is our guarantee of a safe life," he said.
