Putin says Russian soldiers and officers demonstrating heroism in Ukraine

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russian soldiers and officers are acting like heroes during the special operation in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"The special military operation began in Ukraine on February 24. In tackling the set tasks to protect our people in Donbas and to ensure the security of our homeland, Russian soldiers and officers are acting courageously, like true heroes," Putin said at a meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council.
