Ukraine was working to create nuclear weapon - Naryshkin
MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russia has intelligence that Ukraine was working to create nuclear weapons, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) director Sergei Naryshkin said.
"According to data from the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukraine retained the technical potential of creating nuclear weapons and this capacity is far higher than Iran's or North Korea's. Moreover, according to SVR intelligence, work in this area was carried out in Ukraine," Naryshkin said in a statement published on the SVR website.
