Lukoil board calls for quickest possible resolution of Ukraine conflict

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - The Lukoil board of directors is expressing its concern over the ongoing tragic events in Ukraine and its deepest sympathy to all those affected by this tragedy, the board said in a statement published on its website.

"We stand for the soonest possible termination of the armed conflict and fully support its resolution through the negotiation process and diplomatic means," the statement reads.

It also notes that the company is making every effort to continue stable operations in all countries and regions of its presence, carrying out its main mission - to ensure reliable energy supplies for consumers all over the world. "In its activities, Lukoil is fully committed to strengthening peace, international relations and humanitarian ties," the company said.
