Ukraine halts natural gas export from its territory - Ukrtransgas

KYIV. March 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has temporarily halted the export of natural gas from its territory, Ukrtransgas, the operator of the country's underground gas storage facilities, said on Thursday.

"The Ukrainian Energy Ministry has forbidden market actors to export natural gas from our state's customs territory. This also applies to gas being stored in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities on 'customs warehouse' terms," the company's press service said.

The restriction has been imposed in line with Ukrainian Energy Ministry order No. 99 dated March 3, 2022.

Ukrtransgas has also suspended the publication of updates on the operation of the underground gas storage facilities on its official website. The full publication of all information on operations of the underground gas storage facilities will be resumed after the conclusion of the military actions in Ukrainian territory.
