Russian Baltic Fleet in drills tackling counterterror tasks amid mock enemy's use of chemical arms
MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Counterterrorism tasks amid the use of chemical weapons by a mock enemy are at the center of a training exercise being conducted by radiation, chemical and biological defense units of the Russian Baltic Fleet.
"The highlight of this camp training will be a tactical exercise, which will center on counterterrorism tasks amid the use of chemical weapons by a mock enemy," the Baltic Fleet said in a statement on Thursday.
"Radiation and chemical reconnaissance vehicles, mobile laboratories and other specialized hardware are participating in the exercise," the fleet's headquarters said.
