EU to provide substantial macro-financial assistance to Ukraine - PM Shmyhal

KYIV. March 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The European Union has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukraine on providing it with macro-financial assistance in the amount of 1.2 billion euros, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"We truly thank [European Commission Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis]. Another gesture of strong support from the EU, which will help strengthen our economic potential," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
