Ukrainian National Bank estimates aggregate int'l support at over $15 bln

KYIV. March 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian state financial system is operating uninterruptedly, including owing to a significant volume of financing coming from international organizations and partner countries on strengthening the national defense sector, supporting Ukraine's economy, and humanitarian matters, which has exceeded an estimated $15 billion, Ukrainian National Bank chief Kyrylo Shevchenko said on Thursday.

"According to our estimations, the international financial, technical, and humanitarian support has reached in aggregate an equivalent of over $15 billion, including over $5 billion directly to the budget," Shevchenko said.

The Ukrainian government's payments have been carried out without restrictions in line with the martial law legislation, and the supply of liquidity is sufficient to finance expenditures and repay obligations, he said.
