LPR and DPR forces successfully continuing offensive - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Forces of the Luhansk (LPR) and Donetsk (DPR) People's Republics are continuing their offensive, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

"Groups of forces of the Luhansk People's Republic, backed by the Russian Armed Forces, continued their offensive and took control of the Yarovaya-Krasnyi Lyman-Prilovye road," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Thursday.

Meanwhile, DPR forces successfully conducted an offensive, advancing eight kilometers and taking control of the localities of Novokrasnovka and Krasnovka, he said.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces, acting together with DPR units, also continued their offensive and took control of the localities of Blahoveshchenka, Synya Hora, Petrivske, Sladkaya Balka, and others, Konashenkov said.
