Putin speaking with Macron over phone - Lavrov

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is speaking with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron over the phone, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"As we are talking, I think there is another telephone call [between Putin and Macron] in progress. We will be glad if this time France helps achieve an agreement based on the principles approved in the OSCE and in international relations as a whole," Lavrov said in an interview with Russian and Western media outlets.
