West's hysteria will wane, and then dialogue could be started - Lavrov

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - The West will get past its "frenzy," and then its dialogue with Russia could begin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"I am sure this hysteria will go away. Our Western partners will get past their frenzy, I can't even find other words for that. We are always ready for dialogue, provided one essential precondition: it must be maintained only on the basis of equality, on the basis of respect and consideration for each other's interests," Lavrov said in an interview for Russian and foreign media outlets.

"A picture is currently being created, like in Hollywood, where there is absolute evil and absolute good, and the absolute good is personified by the one who is actually the scriptwriter of this action movie," he said.
