Humanitarian passage from Borodyanka opens for civilians - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - As Ukrainian nationalists are moving into residential areas of Borodyanka, civilians may leave the city for Berestyanka through a humanitarian passage, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"In Borodyanka, where Ukrainian nationalist units and their hardware have been deployed in residential areas, civilians can safely leave the city through a humanitarian passage to Berestyanka," Konashenkov said at a press briefing on Thursday.

Russian troops are not creating any impediments to civilians leaving in that direction, he said.
