Armenia lifts mask mandate for indoor spaces

YEREVAN. March 3 (Interfax) - The Armenian Health Ministry has lifted the mask mandate for indoor spaces.

"The epidemiological situation in Armenia is stable. Therefore, a decision has been adopted to lift the mask mandate for indoor spaces. Nevertheless, we recommend wearing protective masks indoors whenever necessary," the Health Ministry's press service said.

The decision is due to take effect on March 3.

Covid-19 morbidity in Armenia has declined 69% in the past 14 days. A mere 18.1% of all Covid-19 diagnostic tests have returned positive results.
