Russian Foreign Ministry denies reports on decision to expel U.S. ambassador, response to expulsion of employees of Russia's UN mission being worked out
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Russia is still working out response measures at this point to the expulsion of 12 employees of the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations and an employee of the UN Secretariat, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, denying media reports that Russia has allegedly adopted a decision to expel U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan.
"We are still working out response measures at this point," Zakharova told reporters.
Media outlets said earlier that, in response to the aforementioned steps undertaken by the United States, Russia allegedly has already adopted a decision to expel U.S. Ambassador Sullivan.
