Russian troops destroy 47 Ukrainian aircraft on ground, 13 aircraft in air - Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Russian strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure continue, the Russian Defense Ministry's spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"In all, during the operation, 1,533 installations were destroyed, including: 54 command and control centers and signal stations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 39 air defense missile systems (S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa), and 52 radar stations," Konashenkov told a briefing on Wednesday.
"Further, 47 aircraft were destroyed on the ground and 13 in air, as were 484 tanks and other fighting armored vehicles, 63 multiple rocket launchers, 217 field artillery weapons and mortar launchers, 336 special military automotive vehicles and 47 unmanned aerial vehicles," Konashenkov said
