Nationalists plant mines at Azovstal steel works in Mariupol - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax) - Nationalists from the Azov battalion have planted explosives at the Azovstal iron and steel works in Mariupol and are ready to blow it up if the city's defense is breached, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.

"Militants from the Azov nationalist battalion planted explosives at the production workshops of the Azovstal iron and steel works in the Mariupol city at nighttime. Residents of the city continue working at the enterprise while being unaware that nationalists are preparing to blow up the plant with people in it if the city's defense is breached," Konashenkov said.
